North West Fire Protection Pty Ltd was founded in November 2002 by Anthony and Chris Atkins.
The company has been trading as Total Safety & Fire Solutions since June 2005, as a result of expansion to its services.
The Western Australian owned and operated business services fire and safety equipment for a range of businesses, including mines sites, industrial and commercial properties, and marine applications, as well as remote communities and stations in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of WA.
Total Safety & Fire Solutions offers fire equipment sales, training, safety & rescue equipment, safety and road signage, traffic control products, Spill kits & spill containment, first aid equipment and kit restocking, major fire systems, electronic fire detection and monitoring products. The company has recently commissioned a 38ft mobile service workshop to provide refills and pressure testing facilities.
The mobile workshop is also stocked with a range of products for clients to purchase on site. As a member of the Fire Protection Association of Australia, Total Safety & Fire utilises a database to maintain comprehensive records of its client’s fire equipment service requirements, which provides as an ongoing occupational health and safety records system.
